You’re going to think you’re in the middle of nowhere and maybe this is not the right place. Don’t give in to that thought! Absolutely fantastic food. And you HAVE to try the sopapilla. I added a picture but it’s only of half as we had already eaten the other side!! My word. Best I’ve ever had.

I had the best tasting, "Carnitas Burrito," and Margarita, ever....at the, "Vallarta's Mexican Restaurant"~~ In Archie, MO. ~~ On Main Street!!! Not only was the food "terrific," but the owners are "super friendly" and it's a very cozy atmosphere to gather, for the "best tasting" Mexican food around!!!

Hands down the most authentic Mexican food we’ve had in this region. We love the green chili sauce we get in Colorado and we’re thrilled find they have the real stuff here. The owners moved here from Colorado and brought the flavors we love with them. They are extremely nice, friendly people and I hope you stop in Archie and try it out. The service was spot on. You won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic meal, enchilada was fantastic, the Chile relleno was one of the best I've ever eaten and the tamale has some braggin' rights. And a great, flavorful presentation. A picture is worth a thousand words. DO IT!!

I met some friends at Vallarta's yesterday for lunch. We had been sent there by a waiter we met in Fargo, ND. He is a cousin to Mario, the owner of Vallarta's. We were glad we did! The food was really good. The service was amazing - and our server was Mario. He took the time to visit with us and it made our visit that much more fun. I am happy to recommend them to people. Just don't go on Saturday because they are closed to be able to spend time with family. PS - You have to try the sopapillas!
